Clay Encounters

Cyclic ceramic workshops at Warsztat Miejski – makerspace in Gliwice.

Held regularly twice a month,  Clay Encounters bring together ceramic enthusiasts.

During the workshops, we share knowledge of hand-modeling techniques in clay, help implement original projects, and showcase interesting construction and decorative ideas. We offer a wide selection of materials, a workspace, and regular firings in our iconic Dutch ceramic kiln.

• For Beginners and Advanced Users – Beginners take their first steps with us and acquire basic knowledge of the process of preparing ceramic objects – functional, artistic, and figurative forms.
• Support in the Implementation of Original Projects – Those who come to us with their ideas receive substantive support from the instructors and the interest of the growing Clay Encounters community.
• For Adults and Children – The workshops are intended for adults. Children are also welcome, accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The meetings are led by members of the association, Agata (MORFIKA) and Basia (Ceramika Żywa), who pursue their passion for ceramics professionally and artistically.
